October Newsletter 2022
Dear Redemption Family,
Fall has arrived in South Florida, and we are looking forward to lots happening in the coming months. Throughout the month of October, we have several opportunities to connect and serve our community together, and we hope you're able to join us! Our mission as a church is not only to PURSUE Jesus, but to PROCLAIM Jesus to those around us. Through the coming months, there will be lots of ways you can get involved in proclaiming Jesus in our community.
On Saturday, October 15th, we will be meeting at Atlantic Dunes Park at 10am for a baptism! We have a few individuals who are taking this next step in their faith, and we are looking forward to celebrating with them. Parking is available across A1A, and we will meet at the pavilion by the beach.
On Friday, October 21st from 4pm-6pm, we are serving meals to those in need at Proclaim Church in Lantana! This is a really special time to help make a difference in people's lives right here in Palm Beach County, and we'd love for you to come serve with us! You can sign up at the Connection Table at our Sunday services.
On Saturday, October 29th, we will be hosting a booth at the Delray Kidsfest event in downtown Delray! We will be handing out gospel bracelets and engaging with families, and it's always a really fun event! You can sign up for a time slot that works best for you to volunteer at the Connection Table at our Sunday services.
Finally, on Saturday, November 5th at 10am, Laura Williams will be hosting a Women's Brunch at her house for the ladies at Redemption Church. The theme for the breakfast is "Faithful in Every Season." There will be brunch, a devotion, time for fellowship, and a fall craft for all who attend! Invite a friend to join you, and sign up at the Connection Table to bring a brunch dish. We look forward to a special time together.
Please join us in praying for each of these events coming up that God will use us as a light to those around us, and for His Spirit to lead us as we serve our community.
A Special Note from Laura
Hi ladies! I am really looking forward to our time together at our Women's Brunch in November. I have been praying that God would use this time to really encourage and bless us as we set some time aside to meet together, get to know one another better, and see what He wants to teach us in His Word.
The theme for this Fall Brunch is "Faithful in Every Season." I'm looking forward to sharing how God uses ALL the seasons of our lives for a purpose--and how we can find hope and joy in every season. God is faithful, and His Word is filled with His promises to fill us with peace, strength, and faith as we walk with Him through it all. He is good!
So please sign up to bring a treat to share, and come spend a morning with us! Can't wait.
